Silicite - Flint - Chert - rawmaterial determinations
work in museums - archaeological mediation

My core competence is archaeological raw material analysis. I specialise in determining the origin of silicites (flints, cherts) from which archaeological artefacts are made.

The second main area of expertise is archaeological education in museums and outdoors. I develop educational concepts, content for exhibitions and work with groups of adults and children.

In addition to my self-employment, I also work for clients in an employment relationship.

My master's degree in geology gives me a good basis in natural sciences. Additionally I've got a Bachelor's degree in Prehistory and Archaeology of the Roman Provinces.

As an experienced museum employee, I know what is important for good guided tours - and how to get visitors interested in archaeological topics. I work in various museums since a long time and was a member of the board of ur.kultour.

I was on the road with a children's circus for two years. Here creativity, reliability and cooperation with people were important topics. This job gave me a lot of experience in dealing with children.
